Entwined 2019
Early in 2019 Chris Submitted a proposal for the 2019/20 Sculpture in the gardens exhibition at the Auckland Botanic gardens. The proposal was accepted along with 20 other works from around New Zealand. We made the sculpture over a few months, forging and fabricating the components, galvanizing and then painting with Porters Paints “Instant Copper” paint to give it the green patina.
Entwined earn’t Chris and Award and the work was purchased by the Friends of the Botanic gardens to remain on permanent display
